What is the difference between BasketWeave & Continental?
The primary difference between the two basic stitches is the direction of the stitch. Basketweave is worked in diagonal rows. Continental is worked in horizontal rows and also fills in irregular spaces on a canvas.
Join us at Needlepoint Alley for a great way to learn the foundation of needlepoint. This beginner class will teach you the basic skills using easy to master stitches. Canvases need to be from Needlepoint Alley and mounted on a stretcher bars.
The class is a one-time event. An extra class may be taken if needed
